Does anyone out there have a driver that works in Vista or Win 7 for the Deskjet c? After finishing the installment, I made sure the belt was installed correctly by pulling it back and forth to move the ink carriage, and it worked. Nor do I understand its selectivity about what it will or won’t print. Thank you in advance. I’m hoping this clean-up procedure will fix that when I get to it.

Put in two known good cartridges from a working printer. I sometimes get double feeds.
The driver is generic and is missing features that were supported by Windows Printer Fonts Font Included Type. I most generally print in black mode. We delete comments that violate our policywhich we encourage you to read.
Delete the printer driver and reinstall it. Are you installing new HP cartridges, or refills?
